US President Donald Trump called the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. Conversation took place right after the American president’s talks with Vladimir Putin.
“Just spoke with Donald Trump. Long conversation. About the possibilities of achieving peace. About our willingness to work together at the team level. About our technological capabilities, including drones and other modern productions. Thank you to President Trump for his interest in what we can do together.”, – said Zelensky.
The head of the Ukrainian state said that during the conversation with Trump, they discussed, in particular, the conversation with Scott Bessent, as well as the preparation of a new agreement related to security, economic cooperation and resource partnership.
“President Trump briefed me on the details of his conversation with Putin. Ukraine wants peace more than anyone. We are defining our joint steps with America to stop Russian aggression and guarantee a reliable, lasting peace. As the president said, “Let’s get it done” (let’s do it)”, – noted Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader also noted that he and his American colleague agreed on further contacts and meetings.
