Donald Trump criticized Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s statement that the signing of a peace agreement with Russia remains “very far away”.
“This is the worst statement that Zelensky could have made, and America will not put up with it for long! This is what I said: this guy does not want peace as long as America supports him, and Europe at the meeting with Zelensky clearly stated that it cannot cope with this task without the US. It is probably not the best statement for a show of force against Russia. What are they thinking?” – emphasized Trump.
We will remind you that on March 2, during a conversation with journalists, Zelenskyi said that the agreement on the end of the war in Ukraine is still very far away. According to him, no one has taken such steps yet.
“Today we are talking about the first steps, and so until they are on paper, I would not like to talk about them in great detail. The agreement to end the war is still very, very far away. No one has started all these steps.” – noted Zelensky.
