Trump denies plans to eliminate state subsidies for Musk

US President Donald Trump stated, which has no intention of depriving Elon Musk’s company of state subsidies, despite the statement from the White House about its reluctance to cooperate with his company xAI.
Trump noted that he does not plan to take measures that could harm Musk’s business, in particular by canceling government support.
“Everyone says I will destroy Elon’s companies by taking away some or all of the massive subsidies from the US government. That’s not true! I want Elon and all the entrepreneurs in our country to prosper like never before.”, – emphasized Trump.
His statement came after White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said Trump did not support the idea of federal agency contracts with Musk’s company, which specializes in the development of artificial intelligence — xAI.
Responding to a journalist’s question whether Trump supports such cooperation, Leavitt said:
“I don’t think so, no.”
When asked about the possible termination of the contract of the Ministry of Justice with the Grok chatbot, she added that she “would like to and will discuss this issue with the president.”
It will be recalled that on July 23, Donald Trump signed a number of decrees within the framework of the “AI Action Plan” aimed at stimulating the development of artificial intelligence in the United States. The documents provide for relaxation of regulation and expansion of energy supply for data centers.
Among the executive orders signed are an executive order on energy and ease of permitting for AI infrastructure, a directive to support the export of artificial intelligence, and a document calling for the neutrality and impartiality of large language models procured for government use.
