U.S. Senate approves Cash Patel as FBI director

Kesh Patel is an Indian-origin lawyer who previously served in the House of Representatives and the National Security Council. He also held positions in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Defense at the end of the first Trump administration. Patel is known for criticizing American intelligence services and spreading conspiracy theories.
