Ukraine agrees to freeze the war along the front line and create a 30-kilometer security zone: Kellogg

The Ukrainian authorities advocate an end to hostilities with Russia along the current front line and plan to create a 30-kilometer demilitarized security zone after that. About this reported Donald Trump’s special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, on Fox News.
He also talked about the mechanism of creating this security zone.
“Ukraine agrees to a comprehensive ceasefire by land, sea and air for at least 30 days with the possibility of extension. And it is ready to do it today”, Kellogg said.
According to him, Kyiv intends to stop hostilities along the contact line, after which the parties should withdraw their troops 15 kilometers deep into their positions, thus forming a demilitarized zone.
“Kyiv is considering the option of withdrawing the Ukrainian military by 15 km and expects that the US will convince Russia to do the same. This will result in a 30-kilometer zone that can be monitored.” – explained Trump’s special representative.
Kellogg also noted that if Russia agrees to a truce, Donald Trump will be able to guarantee its observance.
We will remind that on April 29, after the negotiations of the Ukrainian delegation in London, in particular with Keith Kellogg, a list of 22 points was formed that determine the conditions for achieving a ceasefire.
