Ukraine and India signed four documents on cooperation

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on an official visit to Kyiv.

Zelensky noted that during this historic visit, agreements were reached on four key areas of cooperation. In particular, we are talking about the medical field, agricultural cooperation, humanitarian aid and cultural ties.

The President of Ukraine also emphasized the importance of further development of the strategic partnership between Ukraine and India, which includes trade and military-technical cooperation.

As part of the agreements reached, Ukraine and India signed the following documents:

  1. Memorandum of Understanding on Indian Humanitarian Grant Assistance for Community Development.
  2. Agreement on cooperation in the field of agriculture and food industry.
  3. Program of cultural cooperation for 2024-2028.
  4. Memorandum of Understanding between the State Service of Ukraine for Medicinal Products and the Inspection for the Control of the Standards of Medicinal Products of the Ministry of Health of India.

Narendra Modi’s visit to Kyiv was the first in the history of bilateral relations. During his stay in Ukraine, he met with the Indian community, honored the memory of Ukrainian children who died as a result of the Russian invasion, and held talks with President Zelensky.
