“We also agreed that we will work in partnership on a project that we wanted to launch for a long time, but there was no time and opportunity. These are (food) hubs on the territory of the African continent. The first partner has been found – the UAE.”, – said the head of state.
In Abu Dhabi, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi held talks with the President of the UAE Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan in an extended format. Possible projects to create a food hub in Egypt and prospects for implementing agricultural programs in Ukraine were among the key topics of discussion.
We will remind that earlier Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates signed an agreement on Comprehensive Economic Partnership. Yuliya Svyridenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, clarified that this is not a traditional agreement on free trade, it is the first in history among the agreements concluded with one of the countries of the Persian Gulf.
