Ukraine launched a new automated system for customs clearance at the border
The system increases the effectiveness of identifying and reducing risks associated with the movement of goods across the border.

On August 15, the State Customs Service of Ukraine announced the successful completion of the implementation of the new automated customs clearance system at all automobile checkpoints on the state border.
For information the press service of the State Customs Service, this system is an important step in the large-scale digital reform of customs aimed at optimizing processes, simplifying procedures, reducing time and reducing costs for business.
The new system also helps speed up border crossing for citizens. Its key element was integration with the automated risk management system, which had already proven its effectiveness in previous modules.
“This system allows more effective detection and minimization of risks associated with the movement of goods across the border, and also ensures a high level of control and security at checkpoints”, says the message.
In addition, the innovations include additional functions designed with European integration in mind, which will improve interaction with EU customs systems.
The project became a reality thanks to the financial support of international partners, who helped create a reliable IT infrastructure for smooth operation and protection of the system. The digital transformation of customs brings Ukraine closer to European standards.
