Ukrainians in Poland who have PESEL UKR status and live in collective accommodation centers can apply for a new benefit

Poland continues to show its solidarity with Ukrainians by providing additional opportunities for those who were forced to leave their country due to the war. As part of supporting Ukrainian refugees living in collective accommodation centers, applications are currently being accepted for participation in two large-scale programs aimed at facilitating integration and ensuring the financial stability of these people. These programs, known as “Wspólnie do szczędnościowści”, are implemented in the territory of several Polish voivodeships with the support of the Polish Red Cross (PCK) and the Polish Center for International Assistance Foundation (PCPM).
Applications for two important support programs for Ukrainians who have the status of PESEL UKR and live in collective accommodation centers are now open in Poland. These programs, named “Wspólnie do szczynościowści”, are aimed at providing financial assistance for renting housing, covering moving costs, purchasing furniture and household appliances, as well as helping with integration into Polish society. This is reported yavp.pl.

The PCPM program operates in seven Polish voivodeships: Silesian, Lesser Poland, Warmian-Masurian, Piedła, Greater Poland, West Pomeranian and Lubusz. The main areas of support include covering housing rental costs, assistance with relocation and integration into Polish society. The program also provides for Polish language courses, professional training, assistance in placing children in schools and kindergartens, as well as access to medical services.
