From February 3, “Ukrposhta” will fully switch to automated processing of parcels. About this reported general director of the company Ihor Smilyanskyi.
“Already next Monday, the automation process will be finally completed and 100% of parcels will be processed by Ukrposhta on robotic lines. Delivery, as we promised, will take place the next day.”, the message says.
According to Smilyanskyi, in 2024 the company invested more than UAH 1 billion of its own funds in the automation of sorting centers, having purchased the necessary equipment from domestic manufacturers.
Since “Ukrposhta” financed the project at its own expense, €60 million of credit funds remained unused. The company plans to direct them to the development of “Ukrposhta Bank” and is already preparing for negotiations with creditors – the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.
