President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi urged The plan is to give Kyiv nuclear weapons that will help end the war started by Russia.
Zelensky noted that the process of Ukraine’s accession to NATO is delayed and may last for years or even decades, and it does not depend on Ukraine. In this regard, the president asked what kind of weapons, in particular missiles, could be provided by partners to help Ukraine win over Russia.
“Will they give us nuclear weapons? Then let them give us nuclear weapons. Will they give us enough missiles to stop Russia? I’m not sure about that, but I think it would help. Otherwise, what missiles can stop Russia’s nuclear missiles? That’s a rhetorical question. Let’s do it.
Give us back our nuclear weapons. Give us missile systems, help us finance a million-strong army, move your contingent to those parts of our state where we want stability of the situation, so that people are calm.”, – said Zelensky.
He emphasized that Vladimir Putin should completely withdraw his forces from Ukrainian territory:
“He invaded because he was afraid we would become members of NATO. Well, we are not members of NATO. Get off our land. That’s how it should be treated, because how else?”.
