Volodymyr Zelenskyi spent meeting of the Staff, during which the issue of increasing orders for drones and supplying basic weapons to the Ukrainian military was discussed.
“There are many reports. About the supply to the troops – our weapons, all purchases, contracts. All this is there. There is provision. We need more speed in the supply and we need more such systems, such weapons, which will make it possible to save more lives of our soldiers, our people . More orders for drones. More investment in robotic systems. All necessary orders are there.”, – noted Zelensky.
He emphasized that a number of countries, including European ones, are ready to cooperate with Ukraine to finance its defense industry.
“We need funds from partners for Ukrainian “defense” to increase. And in particular, this should be a KPI – key indicators of the effectiveness of Ukrainian diplomacy.” he added.
The president also announced that he had received reports from the military regarding the situation at the front and the manning of brigades.
“We are preparing new formats for supporting brigades and equipping units. I set myself the task of presenting the details to the public as early as next week.” – concluded Zelensky.
