The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the National Bank of Ukraine and the State Awards and Heraldry Commission, are tasked with ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of these sanctions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine should inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States of America and other states about the application of sanctions and raise the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures before them.
In particular, the list included nine educational institutions and public organizations. Such as “Melitopol State University”, “International Children’s Center “Artek”, All-Russian public-state movement of children and youth “Dvyzhenie prihruh”, non-profit organization “Center for humanitarian and cultural initiatives “Rassvet”, All-Russian public-state educational organization “Russian Society “Knowledge” and others.
This time sanctions were introduced against 48 individuals. Among them is Roman Alyokhin, a Russian blogger and head of a volunteer movement that helps servicemen of the Russian army. Some of the people who have been sanctioned are known to support and implement Putin’s policy of deporting Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.
