Zelenskyy’s press conference in Brussels gathered an absolute full house

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi spent press conference in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. A number of important events and summits involving the leaders of the European Union took place there in recent days. The event gathered a full audience and attracted the special attention of both Ukrainian and international journalists.
During his speech, Zelenskyy emphasized the concept of “position of strength”. He explained that this includes stability at the front, which depends on the complete exhaustion of the potential of the Russian army.
The Ukrainian leader emphasized the need to train and equip new brigades, which, according to him, is not yet fully in accordance with the agreements with partners. The President emphasized the importance of further financial support, especially from the G7 countries, which contributes to stability.
The prime minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, was mentioned separately. Recalling his so-called “peacemaking initiatives”, Zelensky did not hold back his emotions. He emphasized that no one authorized Orban to conduct negotiations on behalf of Ukraine, and his behavior is more reminiscent of political PR.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi also mentioned US President Donald Trump. He called him a “strong man” and added that he wished he was on our side. Probably, there will be many more meetings and negotiations ahead.
