Volodymyr Zelenskyi reported, that Ukrainian and American teams are working on a draft agreement between the governments of the two countries. He hopes that the negotiations will lead to a “fair result”.
“Today, Ukrainian and US teams are working on a draft agreement between our governments. And this is an agreement that can add to our relationship, and the main thing is to make the details so that it can work. I hope for a result – a fair result.” – noted Zelensky.
He also said that he held a number of talks with world leaders. In particular, he talked with the presidents of Poland, the Czech Republic and Ivory Coast, as well as with the prime ministers of Croatia, Sweden, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Ireland. The Ukrainian leader noted that he is coordinating further cooperation with them.
It will be recalled that on February 12, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent handed Ukraine a draft agreement, which provides for access to Ukrainian minerals in the amount of 500 billion dollars in exchange for support from Washington. The President emphasized that the Ukrainian side is eager to get thoroughly acquainted with the details of the document.
