US President Donald Trump has agreed to pay an official visit to Rome and is considering meeting with representatives of the European Union during his stay. This was stated by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Maloni during a speech in the Oval Office, informs Reuters. «I want to thank President Trump for accepting an invitation to make an official visit to Rome in the near future and to consider meeting with Europe as well.» Maloney said. Her trip to the US comes amid a dispute between Washington and Brussels over tariff policy and is seen as an attempt to promote dialogue and strengthen relations between the leaders after the US decided to temporarily suspend most tariffs for 90 days. Before the visit to the United States, Maloney held a conversation with the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who has not yet had a personal meeting with Trump. This shows that von der Leyen is forced to rely on other leaders in promoting the interests of the EU. Maloney is trying to maintain a balance between his own ideological closeness to the US president and cooperation with European partners who criticize Trump’s tariff policy and his decision not to include the European Union in the negotiation process with Russia to end the war in Ukraine. Earlier, she expressed the opinion that the EU countries affected by the introduced tariffs should resolve this issue through negotiations, and not through a mirror response.

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine approved the law on the ratification of the agreement with Japan on the protection of information. 293 People’s Deputies supported the draft law No. 0301. The document aims to create legal mechanisms for the exchange of information between the state structures of Ukraine and Japan, in particular, if necessary, secret information. The executors of this international agreement on the Ukrainian side will be state bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations that carry out activities related to state secrets in accordance with current legislation. The Embassy of Japan in Ukraine positively assessed the ratification of the document, stressing that it will contribute to the further exchange of information between the countries: «This will contribute to further mutually beneficial exchange of information. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated, that in 1992 Ukraine had 225 air defense systems at its disposal. However, over time, most of them «disappeared». According to the head of state, by 2000, the number of air defense systems in Ukraine had decreased to 168-169 units, and already in 2019, about 60 remained. Zelensky noted that the rest disappeared during the years 2000-2019. «I’m not talking about who stole or sold what from us there. Ministry of Defense of Ukraine creates register of providers of psychological assistance to military personnel among civilian specialists in the field of mental health. This issue was discussed during a meeting of representatives of the Ministry and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with public organizations. The register will contain verified information about organizations or individual specialists, their qualifications, capabilities and a list of services they can provide to military personnel within the scope of psychological assistance. «On the state of the mental health of the military depends on the motivation to perform the service, as well as the readiness to perform the assigned tasks. In the conditions of war, we have no right to postpone the resolution of the mental health issues of our defenders. It is about human life, dignity, recovery after losses and trials.» — stressed the head of the Department of Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Oleg Mukan. During the meeting, representatives of public organizations also presented initiatives to scale up efforts in the following areas: launching a crisis counseling hotline; organization of online and stationary counseling for military personnel and their families; creation of conditions for inpatient psychological rehabilitation; training of deputy company commanders in the basics of psychological methods; training assistant psychologists to support mental stability in combat conditions. The ministry notes that the creation of such a register will help managers of psychological support bodies and personnel of the Armed Forces to quickly find accredited organizations with the necessary specialization in their region. In addition, the list will simplify the interaction between the military and the public sector, expanding the ability of the military to receive quality professional assistance.

The first concerns 123,611 2017-2018 Ford F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The reason is the potential leakage of brake fluid, which can reduce braking efficiency and lengthen braking distances. The company’s dealers will replace defective parts, including the brake master cylinder or brake booster, free of charge, according to a statement from the U.S. auto safety regulator. The second campaign covers 24,655 Ford Explorer 2025 model year vehicles. These cars have been found to have the ability to unexpectedly reset the transmission control module (PCM) while driving. Such a failure could cause damage to the parking system or a sudden engine stop. Dealers will update the software free of charge to fix the problem. The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation a commemorative coin «Easter joy. Pysanka» with a denomination of 10 hryvnias. About this informs NBU press office. «Ukrainian pysanka stands out from the rest — refined, rich in ornaments and content, it embodies a deep tradition and centuries-old mastery of pysanka. In 2024, this Ukrainian decorative art will be officially included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.» — the message says. The egg-shaped coin is made of 999th grade silver, decorated with enamel and local gilding. Its circulation is up to 15 thousand pieces. The author of the design is Oleksandra Kuchynska. The reverse of the coin depicts a traditional Easter egg from the Odesa region, known as «Sorokoput» or «Cossack levadas», decorated with ornaments with a deep symbolic meaning. The obverse is decorated with a stylized tree of life in the shape of an oak, studded with 12 Easter eggs, which depict the ancient symbols of Ukrainian ancestors. The Verkhovna Rada adopted the draft law «On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine ‘On Physical Culture and Sports’ Regarding Adaptive Sports».
