The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation a commemorative coin «Easter joy. Pysanka» with a denomination of 10 hryvnias. About this informs NBU press office. «Ukrainian pysanka stands out from the rest — refined, rich in ornaments and content, it embodies a deep tradition and centuries-old mastery of pysanka. In 2024, this Ukrainian decorative art will be officially included in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.» — the message says. The egg-shaped coin is made of 999th grade silver, decorated with enamel and local gilding. Its circulation is up to 15 thousand pieces. The author of the design is Oleksandra Kuchynska. The reverse of the coin depicts a traditional Easter egg from the Odesa region, known as «Sorokoput» or «Cossack levadas», decorated with ornaments with a deep symbolic meaning. The obverse is decorated with a stylized tree of life in the shape of an oak, studded with 12 Easter eggs, which depict the ancient symbols of Ukrainian ancestors. It will be possible to purchase the coin later through the online store of numismatic products of the NBU and at distributor banks. We will remind that on December 13, 2024, the National Bank also presented a commemorative coin «Digital State» dedicated to the achievements of Ukraine in the field of digital technologies and innovations.
Национальный банк Украины ввел в обращение памятную монету «Пасха радость. Писанка» номиналом 10 гривен. сообщает Пресс-служба НБУ.
«Украинская писанка отличается от других — изящная, богатая орнаментами и содержанием, она воплощает в себе глубокую традицию и многовековое мастерство писанок. В 2024 году это украинское декоративное искусство официально включено в Репрезентативный список нематериального культурного наследия». – говорится в сообщении.
Монета, имеющая форму писанки, изготовлена из серебра 999-й пробы, украшена эмалью и локальной позолотой. Ее тираж составляет до 15 тысяч штук.
На реверсе монеты изображена традиционная писанка из Одесской области, известная под названием «Сорокопуть» или «Казачьи левады», украшенная орнаментами с глубоким символическим содержанием. Аверс украшает стилизованное дерево жизни в форме дуба, усеянное 12 писанками.
Приобрести монету можно будет через интернет-магазин нумизматической продукции НБУ и в банках-дистрибьюторах.
Напомним, что 13 декабря 2024 года Национальный банк также представил памятную монету «Цифровое государство», посвященную достижениям Украины в области цифровых технологий и инноваций.
