ПОСМОТРИТЕ ЕЩЕ:  During the election campaign, Donald Trump promised to quickly end the war in Ukraine, lower prices and support the economy with tariffs. However, he now admits that realizing these promises turned out to be much more difficult, informs The Hill. During the first press conference after the election, Trump said that stopping the war in Ukraine is more difficult than reducing tensions in the Middle East. According to him, the resolution of the conflict depends on the readiness of Ukraine and Russia to compromise. In addition, in an interview with the "Meet the Press" program, he admitted that he could not guarantee that the tariffs would not cause an increase in consumer prices. And in a conversation with "Time" during the presentation of the "Man of the Year" award, Trump noted that it is difficult to reduce the cost of food if prices have already increased. "While Democrats and critics have accused Trump of lowering expectations or signaling that he is breaking campaign promises, his team and allies say the president is moving from campaign rhetoric to an awareness of the complexities of governing." - the message says. We will remind that during the meeting with Emmanuel Macron and Volodymyr Zelensky in Paris, Trump expressed his desire to start negotiations for a quick end to the war.
