Страны G7 смягчили версию коммюнике к трехлетней годовщине вторжения России в Украину

The G7 countries changed the initial version of the communique dedicated to the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine. The coordination of the document became more difficult against the background of US President Donald Trump’s negotiations with Russia regarding the end of the war — without the participation of Ukraine and Europe. About this informs Bloomberg.

References to the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, the «illegality» of the invasion of the Russian Federation, as well as provisions on limiting prices for Russian oil have already been removed from the draft communique.

The initial version of the document called for peace by providing Ukraine with «reliable security guarantees with troops and resources on the ground, backed by international monitoring of agreed lines.»

The new project states that «reliable security guarantees and Ukraine’s integration into the EU will be key to ensuring lasting peace and preventing future aggression.» Currently, the G7 countries continue to work on the text of the communique, and further changes are possible.
