Supreme Commander-in-Chief Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi and Commander of the NGU Oleksandr Pivnenko approved decision on the appointment of 18 corps commanders. They will be responsible for the sections of the front assigned to them and will receive a permanent composition of troops. These changes should be implemented within a month. The reform can significantly improve the combat capability of the army and increase the level of responsibility of commanders for personnel and the execution of combat tasks, provided it is effectively implemented. Most ground force brigades that currently fight as infantry are now consolidated into 18 corps. In addition, a significant part of the units remains under the direct command of the commander-in-chief. The fate of two more corps in the TRO is still uncertain, and there is hope that they will not be created, because the territorial defense forces should not be used on the front lines as regular military units. Most corps include 5 brigades, one corps consists of 7 brigades. In total, 13 corps were created as part of the Ground Forces, 2 corps of amphibious assault troops, 1 corps of marines and 2 corps of the National Guard. In some corps, brigades are formally indicated, which currently do not exist and have no personnel. Given the decision of the Stavka to prohibit the creation of new brigades, it is important that personnel are not transferred to these currently empty units.
Верховный главнокомандующий Владимир Зеленский, главнокомандующий ВСУ Александр Сырский и командующий НГУ Александр Пивненко приняли решение о назначении 18 командиров корпусов. Они будут отвечать за закрепленные за ними участки фронта и получат постоянный состав войск. Эти изменения должны быть введены в течение месяца.
Реформа может существенно улучшить боеспособность армии и повысить уровень ответственности командиров за личный состав и выполнение боевых задач при ее эффективной реализации.
Большинство бригад наземных сил, ныне воюющих как пехота, теперь объединены в 18 корпусов. Кроме того, значительная часть подразделений остается в прямом подчинении главнокомандующего. Судьба еще двух корпусов в составе ТРО пока не определена, и есть надежды, что они не будут создаваться, ведь силы территориальной обороны не должны использоваться на передовой как регулярные военные соединения.

В некоторых корпусах формально указаны бригады, которые не существуют и не имеют личного состава. Учитывая решение Ставки по запрету создания новых бригад, важно, чтобы личный состав не опрокидывали в эти пока пустые подразделения.
