On April 1, Ukraine received another tranche of financial assistance within the framework of the Ukraine Facility program. The revenue amounted to 3.5 billion euros ($3.79 billion). About this reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
«The European Commission transferred to Ukraine 3.5 billion euros of the next tranche within the framework of the Ukraine Facility. These funds will help us to maintain macroeconomic stability in the future. The European Commission noted the commitment of our country to the implementation of reforms on the way to full membership in the EU. And the total financial assistance within the framework of the Ukraine Facility mechanism has already reached 19.6 billion euros.» — says the message.
The Ukraine Facility program is a financial instrument of the European Union designed to support Ukraine during the war and to facilitate its post-war reconstruction. Within the framework of the program, 50 billion euros will be allocated for the period from 2024 to 2027.
The funds will be directed to macro-financial support, reconstruction, implementation of reforms and modernization of the country in the form of grants and loans. The use of aid will be monitored through a dedicated mechanism for reporting and evaluating progress.
We will remind that on March 31, Ukraine also received another tranche from the International Monetary Fund in the amount of 400 million dollars.
