President Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated that negotiations with Russia are possible only if there is a joint position of Ukraine, the European Union and the USA. The statement was made following negotiations with the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.
«They discussed the conditions necessary for a lasting and real peace in Ukraine, and agreed that no negotiations with Putin can begin without a united position of Ukraine, Europe and the United States.
Ukraine should negotiate from a position of strength, with strong and reliable security guarantees, and that NATO membership would be the most economically beneficial for partners. Another important guarantee is serious investment in the Ukrainian defense industry», — emphasized Zelensky.
The President also informed Tusk of the details of the conversation with US President Donald Trump and discussed important messages and the need to coordinate the positions of all European countries to achieve positive results for Europe.
