3.3 thousand entrepreneurs received warnings about possible violations in calculations: State Tax Service
The State Tax Service of Ukraine continues its work on preventing possible violations by entrepreneurs of the rules for conducting calculations and the requirements of labor legislation. More than 3.3 thousand business entities already received warning messages from the DPS through the Electronic Cabinet.
The purpose of these alerts is to inform the business of potential violations and provide an opportunity to correct the situation in a timely manner. The analysis of taxpayers’ reporting for March 2025 showed that in some companies the number of registered PRO exceeds the number of officially registered employees by two or more persons. Such a discrepancy may indicate the facts of undeclared work or violation of state guarantees in the field of labor remuneration.
Currently, the DPS continues to study taxpayers’ reporting for other periods. A focus on prevention, and not just fixing violations, helps to establish a constructive dialogue with the business. This approach helps to protect the rights of employees, legalize labor relations and bring salaries out of the shadows.
Enterprises, in their turn, get the opportunity to correct identified deficiencies in time and avoid them in the future. DPS is already recording positive feedback regarding the updated format of interaction with business representatives.
“Since the beginning of the year, we have already implemented a number of measures that changed the philosophy of work of the DPS in order to make the tax office a truly effective state body.” – noted the first deputy head of the DPS Lesya Karnauch.
