74% of court staff consider their salary insufficient to motivate them to work: NASC

The National Agency for Public Service (NADS) has published the results of a large-scale poll civil servants regarding their attitude to the level of wages. The study, in which about 40,000 respondents took part, showed that a significant part of civil servants do not consider their remuneration sufficiently motivating for the high-quality performance of official duties.
According to the conclusions of the NADS, the problem of low motivation is particularly acute among the employees of court apparatuses. In this sector, 74% of employees said that their salary does not motivate them to work as efficiently as possible.
Despite the fact that in 2024 there was a certain increase in wages in the public sector, it did not solve the problem of financial dissatisfaction. The issue of low pay is felt most acutely among civil service employees of categories “B” and “B”, who receive lower salaries compared to category “A”.
In general, NADS states that the judicial system is one of the sectors where the problem of labor motivation is the most acute. It is known that in February the district courts of Kyiv announced open vacancies in court offices, offering salaries in the range of 6-14 thousand hryvnias.
