A cybersecurity training program for women has been launched in Ukraine

In Ukraine started online program “Women in Cyber: Skills in the field of cyber protection” aimed at training women in the field of cyber security. The initiators were CDTO Campus, Diya.Business and Diya.Osvita with the support of the German company Monarch and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany.

The purpose of the program is to provide basic knowledge of cyber security and teach participants to apply it both in everyday life and in the professional sphere.

“The Women in Cyber program is an important starting point for women who want to change the professional vector, develop digital skills or gain a deeper understanding of digital risks. While studying under the mentorship of leading experts from Great Britain, participants will gain knowledge and practical skills for a confident start in one of the most important areas of our time. We strive to systematically develop the direction of cyber security in Ukraine, overcome the gender imbalance in technology and create real opportunities for learning, working and growth”, – said Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The program is aimed at women who are already working in or planning to move into the field of cyber security, as well as those who want to add to their current skills. Participation in the course does not require previous experience. As part of the training, students will familiarize themselves with key concepts and practices, learn more about the specifics of the industry, receive advice from experts and practical tools for development.

The program includes seven lectures covering both theoretical and applied topics: Cybersecurity Fundamentals, Risk Assessment and Compliance, Threat Intelligence, Wartime Resilience, OSINT, Women in the Industry, and Personal and Career Development in Cybersecurity.
