The Ukrainian manufacturer, together with the Ministry of Defense, is working on the creation of a mobile workshop for maintenance and repair of drones. About this informs Ministry of Defense
The main task of the project is to provide the Ukrainian Defense Forces with the ability to quickly and effectively repair unmanned aircraft systems in the field. In particular, the workshop should cover the needs for the restoration of various models of Ukrainian-made drones.
“Our military has golden hands, but we also know that they are forced to repair aircraft in difficult field conditions. To make this process more convenient and efficient, we want to improve the working conditions of the craftsmen. The novelty will get to the front only taking into account the wishes of those who will use it” – noted the head of the Directorate of Unmanned Aviation Systems of the Main Directorate of Defense Innovations, Lt. Col. Yevgeny Tkachenko.
As noted by the Ministry of Defense, the mobile workshop is being created on the basis of vehicles with high traffic, which will allow repairs to be carried out in any place and under any weather conditions. It will be equipped with an autonomous 11 kW power supply system, modern means of communication and dual-band routers.
Inside the workshop there are workplaces for repair, assembly, adjustment of electronics and welding. In addition, mobile racks and shelves for tools and equipment will be installed, which are easily dismantled and can be used outside.
