A platform for booking houses in nature has been launched in Ukraine

Hutshub, the first national platform for booking houses in nature, was launched in Ukraine. About this reported in the press service of the project.
The service positions itself as a local alternative to Airbnb and Booking, but with a specialization in accommodation in the middle of nature. The idea of creating a platform arose during a full-scale invasion, which contributed to the growing interest in domestic tourism and country recreation.
“More and more people began to consider houses in nature as an attractive investment. And we were no exception, because we ourselves were thinking about buying a plot in Slavsk. But in the process we realized what difficulties a Ukrainian owner can face with foreign services.
Since the beginning of the great war, it has not been so easy to register a new house. That’s how hutshub appeared. We wanted to invest in a cabin in nature, but we decided to invest in an ecosystem that would make the booking process easy, safe and transparent.” – noted the co-founder and CEO of hutshub Maksym Karkach.
At the testing stage, more than 100 accommodation facilities from different regions of Ukraine have already joined the platform, including Dereva, Sirka Space, “Na Brusnytsia”, Vdoma, “Nadsluchanska Switzerland”, Mandra Morion, “Character Park”.
“We aimed to create a platform like our own: without complex algorithms and long waiting for support. A platform that is on the same language as the Ukrainian user, understands his context and real needs. That is why we are now working on important details: from setting up the filter of houses “with a discount for the military” to building our community of owners.” — explained SOO hutshub Volodymyr Sendega.
Among the functional possibilities for users: a connected payment system, convenient search filters, a chat for communication with the owners. Special attention is paid to security — each accommodation is pre-verified, there is a two-way rating system and the possibility to leave reviews.
For hosts, the platform offers calendar synchronization, setting flexible booking rules, pricing and discounts, as well as advertising services. The booking fee is 10%, the lowest in the market, and the first five deals are free.
According to the company’s estimates, there are about 1,500 houses in Ukraine that meet hutshub’s criteria, and the annual growth of this segment is 10–15%. The plan is to unify the market, expand the community, create a partner ecosystem and support local initiatives in the regions where the facilities are located.
