A scandal broke out in Poland over generators for Ukraine: an official with an order from Zelensky is under suspicion

Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki expressed outrage in response to the arrest of Michal Kuchmerowski, former head of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS). Moravetsky called this arrest a political revenge by the government of Donald Tusk, claiming that the charges against Kuchmerovsky are related to the case of supplying generators to Ukraine. About this writes RAR.

It is known that at the request of the prosecutor’s office, the court decided on the temporary arrest of Michal Kuchmerovskyi in connection with the case of the implementation of an EU grant in the amount of 114 million euros, which was allocated for the supply of generators for Ukraine. The arrest will also enable the initiation of an international search for Kuchmerowski with an arrest warrant, the National Prosecutor’s Office of Poland reported.

Moravetsky sharply criticized these actions, calling them “treacherous political revenge of the Tusk gang.” He emphasized that he considers the arrest of Kuchmerovsky an attempt to paralyze the state, especially in crisis situations, when it is necessary to make quick decisions.

Moravetskyi also expressed full confidence in the honesty of Kuchmerovsky, saying that he will definitely prove his innocence during the trial. The ex-prime minister emphasized that Kuchmerovsky was the initiator of reforms in RARS, thanks to which the agency became a key element in the fight against the pandemic and an important center of support for Ukraine.

Moravetsky emphasized that thanks to the work of Kuchmerovskyi and RARS employees, effective decisions were made regarding the purchase of the necessary equipment, which saved thousands of lives. He also noted that Kuchmerovsky was awarded orders by the presidents of Poland and Ukraine for his services.
