A state portal of international bus routes was launched in Ukraine

The Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure has launched a new state portal autobus.gov.ua, where users can find information about regular international bus routes, informs press service of the department. This resource was created to improve the quality and safety of passenger transportation.
The portal became part of the reform of international bus transportation aimed at streamlining the industry.
All legal carriers that have passed the state inspection, pay taxes and are responsible for the safety of passengers are collected on the portal.
Using the portal, users can:
- choose a proven and legal carrier;
- plan a safe route;
- find out through which checkpoint the bus will pass and whether you can expect no queues at the border.
In addition, in case of receiving poor-quality services, passengers can leave their feedback online.
We will remind that in August of last year the Ministry of Community Development started the reform of international passenger transportation, which included streamlining the list of international bus routes to Russia and Poland. At that time, 280 international car routes were closed, including 118 routes without appropriate permits from Poland, 140 routes to the Russian Federation, as well as 22 routes to Poland, the closure of which was initiated by the carriers themselves.
In January 2024, it became known that the Ministry of Community Development together with Ukrtransbezpeka are preparing to launch a register of international bus routes as part of this reform.
