A system for mass filing of claims via API has been launched in Ukraine

Financial companies of the non-banking group “VSK Group” in cooperation with the state enterprise “Information Court Systems” for the first time in Ukraine implemented a legaltech solution that allows you to automatically submit class actions via API to borrowers in the field of microcredit. Currently, more than 5,000 electronic lawsuits have been submitted to courts.

“Thanks to the integration of the corporate CRM system with the API of the Electronic Court of the State Judicial Administration (DSA), it became possible to form and submit up to 5,000 claims in 60 minutes. For this, a special module of the API of the Electronic Court is used, developed for legal entities with a massive judicial workload. In addition, all documents in cases are automatically pulled into the CRM system. This approach allows you to fully digitize the entire chain of filing and supporting a claim and promptly respond to court events”, — explained Serhiy Velikdanov, founder of non-banking financial group “VSK Group”.

The cooperation became an example of effective interaction between government structures and business in the direction of legaltech and digital transformations. The company notes a high level of technical support from the State Administrative Court and the State Enterprise “Information Court Systems”, which facilitated the integration with the “Electronic Court” platform.

The digital format of court document circulation allows to reduce the burden on courts, as there is no need for manual processing, scanning and sorting of documents. Also, postal costs are reduced due to the complete transition of procedural actions to online. In addition, the financial burden for borrowers is reduced — electronic filing of lawsuits makes it possible to reduce court fees by 20%.

The introduced automation of filing of class actions can significantly affect the work of factoring companies, banks, providers of housing and communal services and other enterprises that deal with a large number of court appeals. The company sees this decision as a basis for creating a single digital platform for litigation in the field of mass foreclosures.

We will remind that the web interface of the “Electronic Court” implemented in 2021 proved to be ineffective for working with group lawsuits: submitting 1,000 applications could take up to a month and required the efforts of 15 employees.
