Almost 1700 officials will be checked for the legality of the decisions of the ISEC

The interdepartmental working group will conduct a review of the validity of establishing the disability of almost 1,700 officials. About this informs press office of the Ministry of Health.

“As of the end of November 2024, the group, according to the information of the Security Service of Ukraine, the SBU, and the Prosecutor General’s Office, has formed a list of 1,695 officials from more than 30 state bodies. They have been sent to carry out an examination on the validity of the decisions made about them by medical and social expert commissions.”, says the message.

As of the end of November 2024, 1,695 cases of officials from more than 30 state bodies were sent for examination. The check is carried out to establish the legality of decisions made by medical and social expert commissions (MSEK).

According to the Ministry of Health, among the cases that are subject to review, the largest share is:

  • 32% — employees of the tax service;
  • 26% — employees of prosecutor’s offices;
  • 17% — customs service;
  • 25% — other state bodies.

The Ministry of Health also notes that the list of cases for review is constantly increasing, as the working group receives new data from law enforcement agencies. Over the next two months, inspections will continue, and in the event that unsubstantiated decisions regarding the establishment of disability are found, they will be reviewed in accordance with CMU Resolution No. 1317 dated December 3, 2009.

The interdepartmental working group included representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Agency for Civil Service, the SBU, the State Security Service, the National Police, as well as regional and Kyiv city military administrations.

This initiative is part of measures to strengthen control over the legality of decisions of medical and social commissions and ensure transparency in this area.
