In the center of the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, an unknown man attacked the Prime Minister of the country, Mette Frederiksen. The incident happened in Courthorpe Square in the Old Town while Frederiksen was there.
The police quickly arrested the attacker. The prime minister’s office said that everything is fine with Frederiksen, but she was “shocked by the attack.” The Prime Minister’s Secretariat refused further comments, and Frederiksen herself has not yet made any statements on this matter.
Mette Frederiksen, who is 46 years old, has been the Prime Minister of Denmark since 2019.
We will remind that on May 15, as a result of the attack, the prime minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, was wounded. On May 5, Fizo issued his first address since the attack and announced his intention to return to work in a few weeks.
