Another group of Ukrainian pilots completes training in the UK

Another group of Ukrainian pilots completed their training in Great Britain. About this reported The Royal Air Force of Great Britain (RAF) on its social media page X.

The message states that Ukrainian pilots have successfully completed initial flight training conducted by the RAF. The next stage for graduates will be advanced training on high-speed jet aircraft and training on F-16 fighters with the support of partner countries.

The solemn graduation ceremony, which took place at the base of the Royal Air Force in Cranwell, was attended by the Deputy Secretary of State for the Armed Forces of Great Britain, Luke Pollard, and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Great Britain, Valery Zaluzhny.

Pollard noted that a total of 200 Ukrainian pilots have already been trained in Great Britain, and expressed confidence that soon these pilots will fly Ukrainian F-16 fighter jets. He also emphasized that Great Britain will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary.

Ambassador Valery Zaluzhnyi expressed his gratitude to the British instructors for the training of Ukrainian pilots, and also thanked the government and people of Great Britain for their constant support.

It is thanks to this support that we continue the struggle“, — noted Zaluzhnyi.

It will be recalled that the first group of six Ukrainian pilots completed basic training for F-16 flights in Great Britain in December last year and continued their fighter pilot training in Denmark.
