Apple tops the list of the world’s most valuable brands for the fourth year in a row

For the fourth year in a row, Apple has retained the status of the most expensive brand in the world. According to Kantar Brandz research, which has been ranking the value of global brands for two decades, Apple is valued at $1.3 trillion: this is 28% more than last year. informs Fortune.
The Apple brand is worth more than the GDP of Saudi Arabia and equal to the combined gross product of countries like Sweden, Vietnam and Peru combined. The top five also includes Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Nvidia.
Among all the companies on the list, Nvidia demonstrated the greatest growth — its brand rose in price by 152% over the year. High growth rates were also recorded at Huawei, VMware, Xiaomi and Instagram, where figures exceeded 100%. The top newcomer was OpenAI — the developer of ChatGPT — which debuted at No. 60 with a brand value of $43.5 billion.
We will remind that in April, Apple led the decline among the companies of the so-called “big seven” (Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, Nvidia, Meta and Tesla). Then its shares lost 23% of their value in just four trading sessions. The reason for the sharp collapse was the introduction of large-scale import tariffs by the administration of Donald Trump.
