World Veterinarian Day — this day was first established on April 29, 2000 at the initiative of the World Veterinary Association. Today, people who treat animals and care about their problems are welcomed.
In 1863, Professor John Gamgee of the Edinburgh Veterinary College started the World Veterinary Congress, and in 1959 the World Veterinary Association was created to focus on animal health and welfare.
HR Day in Ukraine — on this day, specialists from the personnel service are congratulating. On April 27, 1993, the first labor book was approved, therefore the personnel workers of the country consider this date to be a professional holiday.
International Sculpture Day — this event was initiated by the International Sculpture Center in 2015.
The International Sculpture Center is a non-profit organization founded in 1960 by Elden Tefft and James A. Sterritt at the University of Kansas. Its purpose is to promote the creation and understanding of sculpture and its unique, vital contribution to society. The center publishes the bimonthly magazine Sculpture and presents a lifetime achievement award in the field of contemporary sculpture.
Morse Code Day — on this day in 1791, the American inventor Samuel Morse was born, who introduced a method of transmitting information using dots and dashes.
World Graphic Design Day – is a professional holiday for people of one of the most creative professions and a means of raising public awareness of the important role of graphic design in the modern world.
