As a result of the Russian strike on Sumy region, two people were killed

On the evening of March 23, the Russian air force struck the Sumy region with guided air bombs. As a result of the attack on the Myropol community, two people were killed and another was injured. About this reported prosecutor’s office of Sumy region.

“According to the investigation, on March 23, 2025, throughout the day, the occupiers shelled and dropped guided aerial bombs on the civilian infrastructure of the Myropil community of the Sumy district. As a result of the enemy attack, a 61-year-old shop assistant was killed, and another person was injured. Under the procedural leadership of the Sumy regional and Sumy district prosecutor’s offices, pre-trial investigations into the facts of war crimes are being conducted (part 1, part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)”. – the message says.

Later, in the Sumy Regional Military Administration clarified, that the number of dead in the Myropil community has increased to two. As a result of shelling, the building of the educational institution was damaged and a private house was destroyed.

Russian troops attacked the Yunakiv community with mortars, artillery, rocket launchers, FPV drones and unmanned aerial vehicles. The shelling caused damage to a private house.

The Krasnopil community was hit by FPV drones, mortar shelling, aerial bombardment from drones, as well as missile strikes and attacks by guided aerial bombs. As a result, production, administrative and warehouse premises, as well as two cars, were damaged.

The Myropol community was attacked by an FPV drone, struck from a drone with an explosive device, and controlled air bombs were released from a Russian plane. As a result of shelling, two civilians were killed, another person was injured. A private house was destroyed and the premises of an educational institution were damaged.
