Biden diagnosed with aggressive form of cancer

Former US president Joe Biden was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer with metastases that spread to bone tissue. About this informs The New York Times.
The former US president was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer, his press secretary announced on May 18. The diagnosis was established after doctors discovered a small node on Joe Biden’s prostate, which required additional examination. The statement states that the disease has 9 points on the Gleason scale (group 5) and is accompanied by bone metastases.
“Although it is a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be sensitive to hormones, allowing it to be effectively treated. The president and his family are considering treatment options with their doctors.” – says the statement.
Current US President Donald Trump wished his predecessor Joe Biden a speedy recovery after the news of his cancer diagnosis. The American president noted that he and his wife Melania “were saddened to learn of Biden’s recent diagnosis.”
“Our warmest and best wishes go out to Jill (the former First Lady) and their family, and we wish Joe a speedy and successful recovery.” – emphasized Trump.
