Bitcoin price hits new all-time high

On July 11, Bitcoin reached a new all-time high, which was made possible by increasing interest from institutional investors and the favorable attitude of the administration of US President Donald Trump towards cryptocurrencies. About this informs Reuters.

The largest cryptocurrency in the world has risen to $116,781.10, representing an increase of approximately 24% since the beginning of 2025. It last traded at $116,563.11. Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, also showed growth — by almost 5% to $2,956.82.

“Bitcoin’s new all-time high is due to relentless institutional hoarding – big players are buying up supply and draining liquidity on exchanges”, – said Joshua Chu, co-chairman of the Hong Kong Web3 Association.

It will be recalled that in March, Donald Trump signed a decree on the creation of a strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies, and also appointed key positions of persons who support the development of this field. Among them is the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Paul Atkins, and the head of artificial intelligence in the White House, David Sachs.

Companies associated with the Trump family are also showing cryptocurrency interest. Trump Media & Technology Group plans to launch an exchange-traded fund to invest in several cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
