British Prime Minister arrives in Ukraine

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited Ukraine to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky. This event took place a few days before the return of Donald Trump to the post of President of the United States, informs The Guardian.
Great Britain and Ukraine plan to conclude a partnership agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of defense. The possibility of further military assistance to Kyiv is also being considered, in particular, given the risks of a decrease in support from the United States.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on Western allies to provide long-term military aid to Ukraine, warning that its termination would cause new waves of aggression, chaos and war.
During the meeting, Starmer and Zelensky are expected to discuss the security guarantees that the UK can provide to Ukraine, including the potential participation of the British military in peacekeeping forces after the end of the war.
