By the end of the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine will receive the first Mirage 2000-5 aircraft

Ukraine will receive Mirage 2000-5 fighters by the end of the first quarter of 2025, because France is ready to provide them. About this reported the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Noel Barro.
“French Mirage will be in Ukrainian skies in the near future. At the end of the first quarter”, – the message says.
Fighters transferred from the French Air Force have been modernized, and about ten such aircraft will receive Ukrainian markings. France adapted the Mirage 2000−5F models to carry and launch SCALP-EG and Storm Shadow cruise missiles.
These fourth-generation, low-slung, triangular-wing multi-role single-engine jet fighters were developed in the 1970s, and the Mirage 2000-5 is an upgraded export version. In December 2024, Ukrainian pilots officially completed their training in France.
