Cabinet does not plan to change approaches to reservations: Shmyhal

The Cabinet of Ministers does not intend to significantly change the criteria and approaches to the reservation of conscripts from mobilization in the near future. About this stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during the “hour of questions to the government” in the Verkhovna Rada.

“Regarding reservations. In the near future, we do not plan any significant changes in the criteria and approaches to reservations. They are very clearly written, digitized, extremely transparent, clear and understandable.” Shmyhal noted.

The Prime Minister said that the government, together with the military, carefully controls the reservation process: who receives reservations and in which areas.

“These criteria satisfy both the military and the economy. We do not plan a significant revision in the near future.” Shmyhal stressed.

We will remind that at the end of November 2024, the government adopted Resolution No. 1332, which updates the procedure for booking conscripts through the state portal “Diya”. The document requires all enterprises with critical status to confirm this status in order to maintain the reservation of employees.

According to the new requirements, enterprises must have an average salary at least 2.5 times higher than the minimum (currently UAH 20,000 per month) during the last quarter, and employees applying for reservations must receive such a salary for at least one month during this period.
