He made the remarks during his inspection of one of the brigades of the People’s Liberation Army’s missile forces this week, according to the official Chinese news agency Xinhua.
In his address, Xi Jinping stressed the paramount importance of increasing the combat capability and deterrent power of the missile units. According to him, these forces must be ready to fulfil the important strategic tasks entrusted to them by the Communist Party and the Chinese people.
