Citizens wishing to serve under a contract can choose the location of the military medical commission through “Reserve+”

Citizens who enter into a contract with the Defense Forces of Ukraine now have the opportunity to independently choose the place of passing the military medical commission (MMC). About this reported Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

Kateryna Chornogorenko announced changes in the medical examination procedure for contract workers. Citizens planning to sign a contract with the Armed Forces will now be able to choose a convenient location for passing the military medical examination (MME).

“We continue to develop the reform of the Armed Forces and make the path to service in the Defense Forces more convenient and accessible for everyone who is ready to join.” – emphasized Chernogorenko.

The Ministry of Defense has already started the implementation of changes in the procedure for passing a medical examination for future contractors — three options of locations for passing the medical examination have been determined, while previously the examination was tied only to the place of registration.

Possible options for locations for a medical examination:

• by place of registration (as before);
• by place of residence;
• on the basis of the future military unit.

To do this, you need to update the “Reserve+” application to the latest version. The Ministry of Defense believes that this will save time for those who are registered in one city and live in another.
