The former head of Dnipropetrovsk OVA Reznichenko was released on bail of UAH 30 million

The Higher Anti-Corruption Court (HCC) chose a preventive measure for the former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko, setting a bail of 30 million hryvnias. This became known during the open meeting court
Journalist Oleg Novikov reported, that representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) insisted on the arrest of Reznichenko with the possibility of bail of 41 million hryvnias. The final decision was made by investigating judge Lesya Fedorak.
For data to the Anti-Corruption Center, Reznichenko will have to hand in his foreign passport, not leave the settlement where he lives, appear when summoned by investigators, prosecutors or the court, inform about a change of place of residence or work, wear an electronic bracelet and not communicate with other persons involved in the case, in particular with Yuri Golyk.
The court also ordered a preventive measure for Andriy Kolomoyets, the former head of the Housing and Construction Department of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA, who was set on bail in the amount of 15 million hryvnias. Kolomoyets’ defenders emphasized that he has two minor children, a sick mother and is studying at a graduate school.
Charges against Reznichenko
NABU and SAP suspect Valentyn Reznichenko, Andriy Kolomoyets and other persons of causing losses to the state in the amount of 286 million hryvnias. The case is related to road repair works in the Dnipropetrovsk region, carried out in 2022. According to the investigation, tenders for the execution of works were won by a company related to Reznichenko. If his guilt is proven, the ex-head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA faces up to 6 years in prison.
As is known, on August 29, the former head of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine and ex-head of the Donetsk OVA, Pavlo Kyrylenko, posted bail in the amount of 30.28 million hryvnias, he is also suspected of illegal enrichment and declaration of false information.
