Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine comments on corruption scandals during mobilisation

The Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively cooperates with law enforcement agencies to identify and overcome corruption schemes during mobilization. This was stated by the commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Pavlyuk.

Zero tolerance for corruption is the only thing we can offer to eradicate abuses in the procurement system. Over the last few months, the Command of the Ground Forces has established close cooperation with law enforcement agencies regarding the disclosure of the facts of providing/receiving illegal benefits in the mobilization system“, he says statements, published in the Telegram channel.

Pavlyuk also noted that efforts are being intensified to bring to justice all those involved and to purge the ranks of the military from unworthy persons.

High-profile arrests of lawbreakers take place on the direct initiative and full support of the Ground Forces Command at all stages“, the commander added.

One of the latest cases of corruption in territorial procurement centers (TCC) is the suspicion announced to the head of the Ternopil district TCC for demanding a bribe from an entrepreneur in the form of vouchers for a thousand liters of diesel fuel for a postponement of the draft.

In addition, the SBI detained three officials of the Holosiiv RTCC and SP in Kyiv, along with three civilians who organized a scheme to evade mobilization for conscripts. More than $1.2 million in cash and a luxury fleet of cars were seized during the raids.
