Deputies recommend to the Cabinet of Ministers to allow the reservation of 25% of employees of “white business”

Today, June 12, the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on Tax Policy supported the second reading of draft law 11084 on the creation of a “white business club” in Ukraine. However, it will not include the economy booking rule.
First deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee, explained that the draft law was significantly revised together with business associations and experts. Unfortunately, the economy booking proposal did not make it into the final version. However, he emphasized that only the recommendation for the Cabinet of Ministers to make changes regarding the possibility of booking up to 25% of employees for enterprises of the “white business club” is included.
Let’s recall that earlier the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Tax Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, announced the possibility of including the right to reserve employees for members of the “white business club”.
Draft Law 11084 provides for the creation of a “white business club” in Ukraine with entry criteria related to the level of tax payment and salary of company employees.
Also, the Verkhovna Rada registered two alternative draft laws from the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development, Dmytro Natalukha, regarding economic reservation. These are expected to include different models that will adjust bookings based on salary levels.
