Deputies want to deprive Yuriy Boyko of the title of “Hero of Ukraine”

The Verkhovna Rada supported the appeal to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, with a request to deprive Deputy Yuriy Boyk of the title “Hero of Ukraine”.
About this reported people’s deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak in his Telegram channel.
“The council supported my colleague Roman Lozynskyi’s request to the President of Ukraine to strip MP Boyko of the title of “Hero of Ukraine”., – noted Zheleznyak.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada recalled Yuriy Boyko from the post of a member of the Committee on Human Rights, Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and International Relations.
This decision was made only on the second attempt, which was previously reported by the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, David Arahamiya. The day before, it was not possible to expel Boyko from the Human Rights Committee because there were not enough votes: only 217 were cast.
