Districts are being closed in Myrnograd and 500 children are being searched: grocery stores will be closed on August 26
In Myrnograd, the situation is becoming more and more critical: two districts of the city – 5/6 and “Zahidony” microdistrict – are completely closed to entry due to a threat approaching from the east. As informs Public with reference to Tetiana Sytnyk, deputy head of the Myrnograd city military administration, these measures became a necessity due to the rapid advance of the front line.
“Residents should evacuate as soon as possible, since people are no longer allowed in these areas, the only option is to leave. We have already started evacuating residents, especially children, using capsules”, – says Sytnyk.
Evacuation of families with children is carried out with the active support of the police and emergency services. The authorities have the addresses of all the families and are trying to ensure their safe resettlement to the evacuation points in Pokrovsk. However, according to Sytnyk, some parents try to hide their children, which greatly complicates the evacuation process. Currently, 500 children are wanted.
Forced evacuation has already been announced not only in Myrnograd, but also in three neighboring settlements of the community – Rivne, Chervyn Liman and Sukhetske, where the situation may also worsen in the near future.
City authorities strongly urge residents to leave dangerous areas. All important institutions and establishments are already closed: the work of the National Center for Social Security Administration, the branch of the Pension Fund, and the banks in the city are no longer open. Even grocery stores will not be open from August 26, which emphasizes the seriousness of the situation.
Against the background of these events, Myrnograd remains without electricity in the areas closest to the front, which further complicates the lives of residents and emphasizes the need for urgent evacuation.
