Dnipro Mayor Borys Filatov sold his helicopter for over 35 million hryvnias. This came to light after he made relevant changes to his annual income statement.
In accordance with declaration, submitted on August 13, the sale of the helicopter took place on August 6, 2024, and the income from the transaction amounted to UAH 35,017,110. It is known that the buyer was a foreign legal entity.
The helicopter, model Eurocopter AS350B2, was owned by Filatov since 2009, when he bought it for 800,000 hryvnias.
The Eurocopter AS350B2, also known as the Ekuroi, is a French multi-role helicopter. Its technical characteristics include:
- Crew: 1-2 pilots
- Passenger capacity: 5-6 people
- Maximum take-off weight: 2250 kg
- Engine power: 1 × 847 hp. (1 × 632 kW)
- Cargo cabin dimensions: length 2.42 m, width 1.65 m, height 1.35 m
In addition to the helicopter, Filatov has other assets listed in the declaration, including a ticket for a suborbital flight, nine cars, three motorcycles, a jet ski, a sailing-motor vessel “RUSICH”, several expensive watches, antiques and jewelry.
The sale of the helicopter probably took place during the mayor’s vacation.
