Donald Trump Jr. is going to Greenland because of his father’s interest

On January 7, Donald Trump Jr. plans to visit Greenland, which coincides with his father’s discussions about the possibility of including this Danish territory in the United States. About this informs DW.

“My son, Donald Jr., and various members of my team will be going there to visit some of the most beautiful places and sights.” – said US President Donald Trump through his Truth Social platform.

The newly elected president also reiterated his wishes for Greenland to become part of the United States.

“Greenland is an incredible place and its people will benefit immensely if and when it becomes part of our country. We will protect it and nurture it from the very cruel outside world. Let’s make Greenland great again!”, he added.

Trump Jr. plans to shoot video content for his podcast. He actively supports his father’s policies, but has said he has no plans to join the new administration. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark confirmed awareness of this visit.

“As this is not an official American visit, the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no further comment.” – the ministry said.
